|As a landlord it has been 4 and a half months of back and forth. We have turned in everything that they asked for, over and over. Every time, there is a new detail that was not mentioned by the agent beforehand. We have yet to receive payment for the last 4 months of rent owed. When we call, we are told that the latest requirement was JUST mailed out, or being mailed out that day, yet it is weeks before we receive new info, when we are told it will be one week at most. Things usually get mailed out upon a second or third phone call asking for it. Calls are not returned promptly or even usually the next day. It can take 3 phone calls at times to get a reply. We have called the supervisor, and though it would be safe to assume they are busy, there are still limited or NO results. In form with bureaucratic response, *it is not our concern or responsibility to make sure that they do their jobs in a timely fashion. In business, it is their responsibility to make sure that we have ALL information on our requirements the first time, and to handle their end in a timely and professional manner.* It is unacceptable. 4 months of free living was NOT the arrangement. We ended up having to pay utilities for the tenant because without the lease which it took months to re-re-re-revise, they could not have it turned on in their name.|
When we decided that we no longer wished to do business with Pine Grove because of this, they gave us advice that would have stripped the tenant of their housing voucher. It took days of calling to correct this, and nearly a month to receive the appropriate paperwork when we were told it would be "the following week".
Here we are, having been told that our payment would be received by last Friday, and it is the following Wednesday.
If you are looking at entering into business with this company; make sure you get ALL information required of you the first time. Call often and ask the same question 3x to ensure that they understand said question before you submit your information. Think twice about entering in the first place if you do not have a great deal of patience, and do not mind the income on your asset taking a great deal of time to come to you. This is a good idea of our troubles, and we want people to be able to avoid it.
Thank you, if you took the time to read this.
